Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add,
but when there is nothing left to take away.

Since the shining truth is a cause of tranquility,
the heart will not be calmed by lying words.
Falsehood is like a piece of straw, and the heart like a mouth:
a straw never remains quietly hidden in the mouth.
As long as it's there, the one annoyed by it keeps moving his
tongue,
so that he may rid his mouth of it.
- Rumi, Mathnawi VI: 2576-2578, version by Camille and
Kabir Helminski, posted to Sunlight
The Level of Words
God has said, "The images that come
with human language
do not correspond to me,
but those who love words
must use them to come near."
Just remember,
it's like saying of the King,
"He is not a weaver."
Is that praise?
Whatever such a statement is,
words are on that level of God-knowledge.
- Rumi, Mathnawi II: 1716-1719, poetic version by Coleman

What is the undercurrent which vivifies the mind, enables it to
do all this work? It is the Self. So that is the real source of
your activity. Simply be aware of it during your work and do not
forget it. Contemplate in the background of your mind even whilst
working. To do that, do not hurry, take your own time. Keep the
remembrance of your real nature alive, even while working, and
avoid haste which causes you to forget. Be deliberate. Practice
meditation to still the mind and cause it to become aware of its
true relationship to the Self which supports it. Do not imagine
it is you who are doing the work. Think that it is the underlying
current which is doing it. Identify yourself with the current. If
you work unhurriedly, recollectedly, your work or service need
not be a hindrance.

definitions, borders, rules...
they confine, restrict, direct.
but the wind
knows nothing
of this
and the sky
cannot be bound.
if you trap the wind
it
dies.
ya yosy,
let your spirit
roam
free!
see:
this moment
is one
with the ocean
of time.
BOOM!

What better place to meditate than the
Cave of the Heart?
Placing all one's burdens there
on the Altar of Tranquility
One may walk naked into the Flame of Truth
And pierce the Light of Love.
