The Nondual Highlights
Sell
cleverness and buy wonderment:
cleverness is opinion, wonder is vision.

Everything is
That lost in That
There is no "You"
or "I," no object
to contemplate, no contemplation!
Everything is That lost in That.
The blind theologians didn't understand.
Then they saw, and their seven levels
of attainment dissolved to nothing.

When you demand nothing of the world,
nor of God, when you want nothing, seek
nothing, expect nothing then the Supreme
State will come to you uninvited and
unexpected.

Self is
always Present, Bliss is always Present.
You are not to work at attaining it,
just remove the obstacles by which you can't see it.
The hindrance is only one: Attachment to the past.

"Memory is the one thing that creates the whole world,
and
memory is the last link that connects one with the phenomenal
world. If memory is understood to be nothing but a
thought,
which in turn is nothing but pure Consciousness the Self
then memory, and the world with it, is merged into the
Self."
- Krishna Menon
"Not
that only, but the co-existence,
Or say that the end precedes the beginning,
And the end and the beginning were always there
Before the beginning and after the end.
And all is always now."

remains unable to abide in the unconditioned nature just as
it is, and therefore develops attachment for mere
intellectual understanding

How did that original creation take place of the body as
infant? And even prior to its birth: How did the conception
happen? How did the infant come into being, without it asking
for it? Understand that. Understand thoroughly that drop of
stuff which eventually has developed into a body, and then you
will understand the whole mystery that you are not that. This
body that is now occupying a certain space, how much space did
it occupy upon its conception? And what was it then? If you
understand that, you will understand the mystery of the Self.

The Wisdom of
Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
"Any person, any embodied person, with that knowledge
"I am,"
carries on his activities in the world with the shackles of name
only. If he had no name, it would not be possible to carry on
with the activities. In that inner core, that Knowingness or
"I-am-ness," there are no shackles. Once it is
understood that
"I am" is purely "I am," formless--and not
that shackled body
form--then no liberation is called for. To be stabilized in that
Beingness, which has no name and form, that itself is
liberation."
